Home-to-Stay is a program sponsored by the Mental Health Association, Rehabilitation Support Services and the Alliance for the Mentally Ill. The purpose of this innovative project is to provide permanent housing and support services to persons with psychiatric disabilities who have been unsuccessful in traditional mental health residential programs due to multiple service needs. Services include six subsidized apartments in one building, seven-day a week on-site case management, financial management, recreational activities, transportation, life skills training and medication supervision. Intern's will have an opportunity to work with case managers and program residents assisting in therapeutic interest in crisis assessment and service planning to develop a clinical understanding of each resident and their individualized service needs.
