Invisible Children's Project

Description

The Invisible Children's Project is a nationally recognized program that originated in Orange County.  Volunteers are always welcome and appreciated in the Invisible Children's Project.  Volunteers function as assistants during social functions and children's art therapy.  Volunteers also provide and help distribute food and gifts during the Thanksgiving and Christmas Season.  Volunteers are also used in conjunction with the Windslow Therapeutic Riding Academy during our children's horseback riding program.  Interns are welcome at the Invisible Children's Project during the spring and summer semesters.  Interns function as shadows for case managers and are included in all aspects of the work.  This includes home visits, community out-reaches, crisis interventions, training's, and all scheduled program activities.  Interns have access to all programs literature and client files.  Interns are encouraged to ask questions and participate to a level they feel comfortable with.
