 er is seeking Support Group Facilitators for Orange, Dutchess, Putnam, Sull
 ivan, Ulster, Rockland and Westchester counties. We are requesting that our
  volunteers live within the seven counties, as we are moving back to in-per
 son support groups. At this time there is a mixture of programs in the comm
 unity and virtual.\n\nSupport Group Facilitators create a safe, open enviro
 nment where people share their feelings, thoughts and experiences in a comb
 ined effort to better cope with and manage the shared problems of dementia.
  The goal of Alzheimer's Association support groups is to provide emotional
 , social and/or educational support to group members. As facilitators, indi
 viduals may be responsible for general caregiver, adult children, spouse, g
 ender-specific or language-specific groups. We provide comprehensive traini
 ng and support to help facilitators confidently run their groups.\n\nWe ask
  for a one year committment. We will provide training, support and all the
